Grandma and her helpers can teach you how to quilt! Our class schedule was designed to be short and fun. There are lots of one day classes for you to choose from, plus take a look at our monthly in-store clubs! We’ve got classes for all ages and skill levels!

Smocking: Introduction to English Smocking
Instructor: Teresa Imlah

 Thanks to award-winning needle women like Teresa, this time-honored needle art is regaining popularity. Teresa will teach you five different English smocking stitches: cable, outline, wave trellis, and cable flowerets. You’ll learn to combine various stitches to form even more possibilities. A short history of smocking, and tips on how to make smocking dreams come to life are included.
Sunbonnet Sue - All Through the Year

Sue has been a favorite of quilters for over a century! You’ll select a block from the book and bring all the supplies needed to class. Mary will show you how to hand piece the background plus teach you tips and tricks for needle turn appliqué. When it’s time to embellish, Mary says you can never have too many buttons, laces and other ornaments. She’ll show you why in class.

“Kick it up a notch” as you learn advanced shading skills using Alice’s original design, Pretty Pansies. This class adds to the skills you learned in basic shading. You will work with a wider color palette, learn to skillfully blend several shades, and master intricate patterns and advanced angles.
