Block of the Month - Redwork

Using her favorite nursery rhymes, 10 year old Helen Wells produced this Redwork charmer from Penny Squares in 1910, using one of the first sets of Redwork patterns ever produced. Now you can recreate this unique child's quilt a step at a time. Each month, you'll receive the floss, nursery rhyme, and pre-printed muslin to make two 10" embroidered blocks. A Finishing Kit to turn it into a gorgeous quilt is available at the end of the program. Completed quilt measures approximately 40" x 50". Say I Love You over and over again with Grandma’s Redwork Pattern Sweethearts. These embroidered hearts were designed and/or adapted by Grandma Rachel from vintage Redwork patterns. They are easy to stitch and fun to create.
